Tuttle is getting robbed

I cannot believe Trey Tuttle did not win the Special Teams player of the week. Without his 4 field goals (a perfect 10-10 on the season) Weber does not beat the Bobcats thus playing a HUGE part in our win.

Instead they gave it to NAU's Elijah Marks, who had a 100 yard kick return. Though impressive it did not impact the game in the same way Tuttle did. NAU beat the Bears 48-20.

This isn't the first time I felt Weber had a player get snuffed by the Conference but this one really baffles me.

Trey, your contributions to this team are not forgotten by the Weber State faithful. Keep kicking strong young man.

:+1:

It's too bad he missed that PAT at MSU, I have to believe the weather contributed.

Amen!! Keep preaching brother!

Is kind of surprising, and frustrating, that maybe the best team in the conference has had zero players of the week, but this is a real balanced team that plays as a team and doesn't have any one player with eye-popping stats. I'm sure everyone on the team is fine without the personal accolades and just want to keep winning, which is fine by me.

:agree:

I'll bet it's frustrating for us fans and furthest from the minds of the players. The only accolade probably on their mind is a BSC trophy. I'll take 22 solid players over 4-5 great ones every time, even though I think this team is composed of a combination of those.
