TV Coverage!!!

Right on. Right on. Right on.

Absolutely bloody brilliant. Seattle NW sports news is relevant but a non-"Seattle-centric" perspective is the way to go for Oregon. Kudos to Comcast for the inspiration and brilliancy. There is a critical mass of particularly college sports fodder now with PSU emerging as a relevant football presence and now the whole Oregon sports Magilla can all be organized and neatly packaged for presentation for the NW and the "Portland-centric" perspective. Second City NW.

The article mentions three football broadcasts. Shall we assume those are the three games at the end of the season - UM, MSU, and UNC?

I don't think we can underestimate what an impact this can have for PSU. Just having the name and logo mentioned on the air while people tune in for Blazers and Ducks games is an improvement over the status quo. Actually getting viewers and a little cash from fees or advertising would be phenomenal down the road.

Sweet. If you get a team on TV, exposure increases, leading to increased attendance. It's all good...

GO VIKS!

Dang, I already have tickets to the UO-Arizona St. game that weekend (since PSU wasn't going to be in town). I'll have to bring a radio along and listen to the game while tailgating.

Yeah, I think you're right in that it's Portland only. The Internet is probably your only hope.

I'm not too sure if live home games on TV will help the Viks financially as many folks might stay home rather than go tot he park. And no mention of broadcast fees was made so I would assume PSU will only get exposure and no money for appearing. Away games are SWEET!

Hopefully the Viks can reach new markets in Oregon that usually don't hear about PSU with the UM game. I look forward to more away games on tv next year.

Yeah, next year should be exciting. I'm also curious to see who they setup for announcers and what they do with game graphics, etc. I assume all of this will be controlled by Comcast.

Well in the unconfirmed rumor department at the Saturday fan day deal at Lincoln I was talking to this guy who said the home games were going to be on Comcast. This means nothing to me as the last time I had cable it was under $20 and I was disgusted the way they keep jacking the price up every year.

The Montana game will be great to watch. Anything can happen. Northern Colorado beats Montana State. This has been a weird year. The Ducks and Arizona State I'm going too. I'll have to listen to the PSU Montana game on the radio too. This can be one of the all-time great weekends for Viking fans and Ducks.
Hey lets BEAT THE GRIZ THIS YEAR!

The TV coverage was great to bad the Viks did not pull that one out. It did show people who don't watch PSU that we have a great offense, and a bright future.
