Good to hear. Much better "non-conference" game than home vs. a D2 school (i.e. Fort Lewis or Western New Mexico). Now the tricky part...convincing a playoff qualifier to do a non-conference road football game @ NAU.

Nevada-Reno moved their game with UC Davis to 9/7. Waiting to hear where NAU will fit into schedule. I still think it can be worked out.

Well, it's time for a re-match, this time at low elevation in the fresh air. NAU must be favored but I think we will at least show up. Our new QB is better than last's year's starter and the defense and RB's have performed fairly well. I am actually looking for flooring... preferbally high quality and cheap... are there any threads for that??

NAU is better than the score vs UA would indicates.. they could move the ball some but missed FG, penalities in the red zone and a couple of interceptions... and of course UA has a lot more scholarship players which always helps...

The question is how good is NAU's new qb aganinst other AA oposition now that they have some game tape and two full weeks of extra work??

Consumer Reports just tested different types of flooring. There are some vinyl squares now that look just like real tile but are easier to install. Thanks for the NAU insights, too.

Thanks, UAfan. The results in Tucson stunk but I still walked away feeling a bit more positive than I did the previous year in Tempe.
