UC Davis Predictions

Dominant first half, total third quarter shut out, fourth quarter UC Davis garbage time points. We slow down the scoring early to run down the clock.

EAGS 48 UC Davis 21

I've said it before, but I just can't put into words how proud I am of this team to overcome so many obstacles and be 3-1 right now! If there was a definition of a trap game, this would be it. However, I don't think after last season's finish that this team will have that issue.

Just to point out something from last week...Eags had 5 rushing TD's last week. For those of you saying the rushing game needs to get going...chew on that.

Eags roll in this one!

Eastern - 45
UC Davis - 21

IMO Baldwin is not the "thumping" kind of guy, way too much class. It will be an opportunity for a lot of underclassmen, of which there are many, to get live game experience.

42 EWU
24 UC-Davis

I believe that UC-Davis is ranked 11th/12 in the Big Sky Conference. This is a good chance for our future star athletes to gain practical, in-game confidence. Again, I am not overlooking UC-Davis, but they certainly are not at the same tempo that our last 4 opponents have been. EWU will control the game throughout.

I agree with what you've said and I don't see us running up the score, I just see us dominating thru 3 quarters and then coasting...

I do think if we get the chance, we absolutely lay it on the griz this year

Davis is a team that likes to grind it out and limit possession. When we played there a few years back I remember it being a very low scoring game with few possessions for our offense. If Eastern allows itself to get into another slug fest like that it anything could happen. Ultimately I think the more talented team wins.

EWU-31
UC Davis-21

That I agree with, they had no shame in racking up 57 on us last year when they could have backed off at half.

EWU 45 UC Davis 21. Game is not as close as the final score indicates. Eagles jump on the porous Aggie defense quickly and the defense continues to show signs of improvement. An Aggie score in garbage time makes things look more interesting. Offensive attack shows a lot of balance and there is not a lot of statistical wow factor.

If any opposing coach has paid ANY attention whatsoever to Eagle football, you NEVER take the foot off our throats at half time. We've had no issues throwing down 35+ points in the 2nd half in the past when called on. I don't blame the Griz at all, plus they had 3 years of getting beat 4 times in a row ;) INCLUDING twice the year before!

Prediction: EWU wins, but the score appears closer than it should. EWU 42- CP 28

The past history with Davis is that they have played a little keep away with our offense. So I expect a little bit lower scoring game, but we win decisively 34-14.

The state of your program is where everybody else wants to be. The Ags are not there yet. I think the game will be a bit closer then what several of you are predicting, and I hope the Ags show up and can give you a good game. And I hope we get out of it without injuries, which have plagued us in recent seasons.
