Time to bring it to the dance! I expect a gutsy and high intensity defensive effort. This will be good to test the team’s meddle. Tickets to pricey for me to bring the family, so I’ll be watching on the Plus.

So far, helluva game. Tew getting in foul trouble maybe a really good thing. We might actually have a scoring threat in the paint. Threat will definitely prosper if so.

Let me get the few bad things out of the way first. The bad start was tough and left the Wildcats playing catch up. The drought just before the final minutes was concerning…but Wildcats fought hard in last few minutes. The one play that bugged me was giving up the 3 pointer from an inbounds with one second left in the first half…those points made a big difference.

Now that’s out of the way…loved the effort! Loved the hustle and determination! I think UC Irvine is a really good team and well coached, so it’s great to see Weber State go toe-to-toe, take some hits, and rally and get back in it. I know it’s a loss, but the team showed a lot of growth and I think UC Irvine is a solid team. They play that way every game, and they should be near the top of the Big Sky.
