Nice start for the Bears. Really working the boards and playing scrappy defense. Up 5-0.

Well, this now looks like a top 20 team against a young UNC team.

I can't believe they call their gym the Kennel.

I thought UNC played pretty well. They seem to play hard, work for rebounds, play defense... unfortunatly they were just terrible as a team shooting... wow. If they actually could even just shoot semi-decent they might be able to win a few games but when you can't hit a simple lay up or open 10 foot jumper you're sunk. But beyond that even if they were on fire they still wouldn't of had much of a chance against the refs. That was a nice dose of home cooking. The pro Gonzaga annoucers even went as far as the say the refs managed to take out our top scorer and starting point guard in about the first 8 minutes of the game with ticky tacky fouls. :evil:

Overall team shooting was the only major weakness I saw, I would still say we played a respectable game.

Yeah, I thought the Zags announcers (including Ehlo) were pretty good. Gonzaga has some great shooters. We played good defense and they were still draining three's.

Here's to a win over Oregon State.

I was pretty impressed. The Bears didn't back down. They threw up some bricks, and need to work on the break away a little, but all in all, they are going to give the BigSky a run for their money.
