UNC @ Air Force

The Bears Played a sloppy 2nd half and turned the ball over 17 times...Air Force is 2-0 but both wins came against D2 schools...As many of you know AF runs the Princeton Offense so each possession is valuable..The way I see it if we take care of the ball we win this game and go back north with a 5-0 record. Any thoughts??

I just hope the team has it in them. Back-to-back games after that Hawaii trip has got to be difficult, though maybe the slow pace of the Air Force offense will actually help us.

Be great to have two trophies in Butler-Hancock prior to even playing one Big Sky game this season.

Well, UNC jumped out to a nice lead and hes done well keeping it. 8 minutes left and we are up by 18.

Up by 21 now. Looks like they are off to a solid 4-0 start.

FYI, not sure if it's an upgrade to KFKA's stream or the acoustics of Clune Arena but the audio stream seems really clear.

A couple of buddies and I went to the game and the bears didn't play their best..they didn't get a lot calls in their favor and missed a lot of easy shots. Yet, they still won by 24 and I gotta tell ya that when we start hitting on all cylinders this team is going to be scary! Not to mention our D was absolutely amazing, we were physical and created a lot of turnovers. The weak-side passes from that Princeton O were almost non existent! 5-0 start make it 6 with a win vs ND and lets gets those RAMS!!! GO BEARS

I'm pretty stoked to see you guys off to such a strong start. It appears that you guys may very well have something to say about what's going on at the top of the Big Sky this year. Tad appears to be recruiting well and has the guys playing hard. It's only going to get better.

Wichita is still watching

How was the crowd at the game?

There was a good crowd the students at Air Force come out to support their team. As far as UNC fans the showing wasn't too great..there were a few scattered throughout Clune Arena but i was expecting more students from Greeley to make the drive down on a Sat night( Especially since we were 4-0). I'm hoping that if we can go into the CSU game with a 6-0 record and that might get a little hype in Greeley and it can make for a fun basketball atmosphere at the pavilion.

If you want to see a fun rating of the UNC basketball team check out this site. We were #99 last week before our win over Air Force. Now we are #32 in country. It will be fun to see how high we can get with this rating system with a few more wins if we can keep it up.

Awesome, we are ranked ahead of North Carolina and Kansas. I assume that we stay that way 'till we lose a game then we plumit to 190 or so.
