Attendance tonight was a little less than I would've expected. I'll try being optimistic and chalk it up to the fact that school isn't in yet. Anybody hear an announced crowd at the game?

Officially listed on the game stats sheet as 4036. There are a lot of people in the Portland area missing out on a great entertainment value.

Hopefully the word will get out and people (other than students) will understand that great football is being played at PGE Park.
With a good showing next weekend at Cal and then a victory against Weber State it would be cool if the demand for montana tickets were high enough that the temporary east side bleachers are used.
If the momentum can be sustained, this could be the year that reestablishes PSU football in the eyes of the Portland fan base.

5k seemed about right. I wasn't too happy with the attendance tonight. Yeah, you have #1 vs #2 on television tonight, as well as UO vs Fresno State... However, it seemed that we've been getting more press in the Oregonian and I was really hoping for more.
