Was scrolling through and was stunned to see their game against CC being shown on ESPN+.

Can't wait to watch, GO BEARS!!!!

Interesting win for the Bears. 3-1 win that could have easily been 3-1 the other direction. Our keeper made some great stops but the one thing that sets womens soccer apart is the inability of goalies to cover more of the net (they don't move their feet as much or have the power to propel themselves across the net). That showed in some of the goals that were scored.

It was also great to see some good physical play without any playacting. Someone would get taken out and they got right up and moved on. The men should take some lessons in this.

Played at Jackson Field (not sure if it's still called that). Kind of wish they moved the camera to the East side of the stadium as it's pretty bleak looking beyond the field.
Also, was great to see it turn dark at half time with flood lights going up. Damn shame we can't do that at Nottingham.

For sure, I've often asked why there are no lights... besides the cost I remember hearing at some point it was an issue with the adjacent neighborhood not being too keen on it...
