Note that Eastern won without playing that well... because they didn’t turn the ball over! It sounds like a backhanded compliment, but it’s a real compliment. This team is really good at wining even when playing sort of mediocre. It’s the W that matters, so who cares about style points?

This is one of our biggest league wins in the last few years in my opinion. A VERY tough road win and on a Senior Night to top it off. This win allows us to to keep pace with the Griz who have a tough matchup at home next week against the same UNC team we just beat. Eags still have a shot at owning 1st place all by themselves. And I agree....we are figuring out how to win games even if it has to be in an ugly/gritty fashion. That's the sign of a really good team. We haven't even caught FIRE yet. And wait till we do.... :fuel:
