8646 for attendance.... was hoping for more.
That's technically a sellout though, right?

Not sure if it was a sellout or not...home side was pretty packed. Are they keeping the temp bleachers in the end zone all year?? I was surprised to see them there this game.

Not in the current configuration the field is in with the bleachers in the south end zone. Without those, 8700 would be an "official" sellout. That's why I don't think tonight's attendance figure is correct. The press-box side was full, the north end zone was full, there were people on the east side and also people sitting in the south end zone seats. How were there only 8700 people there? I think they are not counting all the students or something.

Let the onslaught begin. :thumb:

Don't let off, I wanna see us actually bury a team for once.

GREAT team win tonight. Extremely efficient offense, no turnovers, D got key stops and shut them out in the 2nd half. Let's go get MSU!

There was half the temp bleachers still in the south endzone, along with temp bleachers up top on both sides of the pressbox at both far ends. 8700 sounds about right, since the visitors side, along with both far ends of the grandstand (A and F) weren't completely full. Regardless, still technically a sellout since we seat 8600.

For some reason, the last two weeks they've not been counting the students attendence correctly. Both weeks they've stopped counting at 2,000 which is technically what that area is supposed to hold. However, both games there have easily been over 3,000, and probably closer to 4,000 for the Montana game!

These are my thoughts as well. Hey ticket office, count all the student tickets! The higher the attendance numbers, the better it looks for expansion. There were over 8700 there last night and definitely over 10,700 for the Montana game.
