• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Under pressure, NCAA weighs changes...

From the New York Times today. Isn't specifically about ISU of course, but changes will eventually have an impact in football and basketball so I put it in this location:

I think the story I posted on the basketball page about the University of Utah building a $24 million practice facility is a good illustration of why the NCAA is splitting apart at the seams. There is such a huge disparity between the haves and the have-nots, it is almost impossible for the NCAA to govern itself right now. I see a major split in Division I on the horizon.

We absolutely are living through what will be a monumental period of change in collegiate athletics. For some reason...I can't imagine things getting better than they are now...only worse.
