• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

UP

This team is in a death spiral. They look clueless on offense, and without Easom's long-range shooting, this blowout to a below average team would have been much worse. Do the coaches even run basic offensive plays? It doesn't appear so, as players repeatedly do some token passing, then one player takes it upon themselves to go one-on-one for a forced or contested shot. No screens, misdirection, drive and dish, give and go, pick and roll plays ever. On defense they usually hold their own, but not in this game. They allowed UP to score more than 20 points above their average, with post defense particularly porous. I know PSU are a little undersized, but their desire looked to be lacking, especially in the second half. They appeared to be a dispirited and beaten down bunch, after quickly falling behind in the first half, and the final outcome was never seriously in doubt. Sad.

Yes the offense is lacking same movement over & over the girls should be able to create something Yes Easom was shooting the long range shots but nothing new she was 4-9 from the three & 6-14 played 40 minutes should had more points as much as she shoots would like to seen Powell play more than 24 minutes she leads team in assist unlike Easom Powell plays more team ball & Rivard played 29 minutes 15 points 3-7 & 2-2 from the three, looks like Rivard played everything but the 1 but sat bench wonder what 11 more minutes could of done how many more points could of been scored by her. I'm a numbers person looking at 3 attempts Easom already at 57 Powell 23 Rivard 19 just looks like if Easom would have a few assists it might not be as long as a season but continue on this path & PSU looks to be taking Weber State slot in big sky.
