Upgrades to Stewart Stadium.....?

How about upgrade to new Home Uniforms? Something that looks good, the ones we have had for the last umpteenth amount of years are begining to look a little.....blah
 
I just got back from Vegas, I dont know if any of you have been to Sam Boyd Stadium, if you have you'll know what Im talking about. The Bleachers at Sam Boyd have backs to them, they are not seats, they're bleachers, but they have a back that runs along the entire bleacher, Thats an Upgrade Weber can think about, put backs on the bleachers. Make it more comfortable for those who are viewing.

I heard they might build a setup like the below image by the north endzone next to the tkt booth but there is no word if it will be enclosed with walls. It may also be unisex.

Also, insiders have confirmed the below will no longer be an issue with the rest room behind the Purple Pack club.

Has anyone drove past Stewart Stadium recently? I drove by this morning and noticed that above the East bleachers there is a back hoe and it appers thy have already started digging something. Anyone have insight to this activity?
 
I was at the track and noticed the trackhoe and some construction staking so i went up to see what they were building. Based on the construction stakes and survey they are putting in new light poles on both the east and west side. They have allready taken down the old light poles on the east side.
 
Gowildcats is correct. The stadium is getting new lights. The old lights, I think, are going to be setup on the soccer field.
 
I drove past the stadium again yesterday and noticed that all three of the east side lights are gone. Is there possible plans for an expansion on those bleachers, putting more rows in gong up? New bathrooms or are they really just replacing the lights poles themselves??

They wouldn't be expanding. They can't even fill the seats they have now.
 
Its funny how you hear about schools quitting sports programs because they are losing money...................... and Weber continues to throw upgrades galore into thier facilities.

So since mac has been coach... I have noticed alot of new improvments to the stadium. New lights, scoreboard, handicap seating, practice field turf.. I'm sure that I'm forgetting some like maybe the team weight room and lockers... I love how the upgrades keep getting more frequent. I would love nothing more than to remove the track, drop the playing surface and put in more bleachers... Might as well raise the east bleachers and continue up the mountain... Might as well have a facility that hold 25k... Maybe if you believe in the " if you build it, they will come." new bathrooms and consession stands would be ideal...
