I just heard that USU has been invited to the Broke Back Mountain Bowl. Where they will face the 4th best team in the equally pathetic MAC. Yes, FBS football is definitely a plus. One and done...bowl, no chance to ever compete for a National Championship, and best of all, the chance to go bowling with a .500 record. Good grief how pathetic.

Come on George; please...can you honestly admit that you are proud that USU will be participating in the "Famous Potatoes Bowl?" Really? To me it's embarrassing. These type of bowl games are nothing more than crumbs from the table of the BCS folks. They have covered your eyes with the wool of bowldom, hoping that the lower level teams, and even mid-level teams, don't attacked their monopoly (it isn't merely a monoply on money, but on the overall FBS Championship [glory], which isn't NCAA, but BCS) and bring it down; replacing it with a fair and equitable playoff system. As long as the USU's of the world feel it is a worthy goal, playing in some nameless bowl in Boise Idaho, then so be it. I for one would rather have a chance to play for a true Title, not a trophy that looks like a potato.

I'm happy for the players. I'm also happy for the fans that have put up with so many years of pathetic Aggie football. So yeah, I'm happy.
