Well...Christmas is coming early! A lot of us have wanted to see a Weber vs. USU game later in the season and here is our chance. It has been a few years since they two teams tangled in a late December match up. Due to the late scheduling of the game, will the overall result be different? Who knows...there have been a number of claims, from both fan bases, that a later game would have given Weber a better chance of winning. We all know that Randy's teams tend to mesh more as the season goes on and start playing better ball by the middle of December. His teams need a WTF game or two to get their motors running.

Personally, these past few years, I've enjoyed playing USU to start the season. It has helped to get people interested in basketball right off the bat and to set the pace for the season. However, is it detrimental to the Cats success playing the Aggies early? Some speculate that if we got the Aggies later, that we would have a better chance at winning. I don't know about that...it just seems that USU has had our number lately and getting a win against an instate team that isn't UVU or SUU has been really difficult for the Wildcats. Last win in Logan was in 93. Do the Cats end the streak on Wednesday?

Why in the living hell is this game NOT on tv? Really wish a KJZZ or something like that would pick this game up. I sure as hell don't want to drive up to Logan on a Wednesday night in the winter.

USU plays New Orleans tonight. Lets hope for a 3 Over Time thriller.

I don't want to get my hopes too high. What team is going to show up? Doctor Jekyl or Mr. Hyde?

Utah State beat UNO by 10 last night.

I honestly think Weber has a shot in this game, but the team that played against UVU needs to be the team that shows up, not the one who failed to show up against Denver

On the USU fan board, their fans are thinking this will be a very close game. I have to agree.

Should be close per the stats, but somehow the Aggies seem to get it done vs. Wildcats in Logan, no matter their level of strength.

Last victory in Logan, some 23 yrs. ago ('93) was an Abegglen coached Wildcat team winning on DeGraffenreid's last second 3, to win it by 1 pt. Was there & what a sweet high time that was!

Aggies will cover the spread tonight...prove me wrong Wildcats!

I think Weber will lead this game until the last 5-8 minutes when they will "choke", as they have so often done, and give the game away by 3 or less points. Scoring will be in the high 70's!

Halftime with Weber leading most of first half as I predicted. But its close... Seems evident to me that the talent level at USU is down a bit. Can't understand why Rahe hasn't set up some plays to take advantage of Braxton over Janicek. Weber's inside talent far exceeds USU's. The difference for USU is Moore. He is a great one with a complete offensive game and we are trying to play him with a 6'3" guard. Get a clue... when the game is on the line he will beat us if they don't change their defense of him. By the way, the announcers claim that we got Hill out of high school because USU passed on him in favor of another and turned Race on to him after they decided to pass.

Prove me wrong, yes you did! Win for the 1st time in Logan since '93, yes you did!! Way to go Wildcats!!! Thanks Coaches, Players for a great win!!! Rahe's team beats Aggies for 1st win in Logan!! Two great in-state wins to end the OOC season. MERRY CHRISTMAS! :thumb:

Good job Rahe in putting Hill on Moore in second half. Hill took care of business... The Wildcats came thru in the clutch. Nice to see them reverse earlier trend of giving up late leads in close games and losing. It was really hard listening to their homer announcers. Harding needs to get more playing time. He always makes things happen offensively even if he does make a lot of freshman mistakes. Nice to finally win in Logan. Congrats Cats!!

B-E-A-Utiful

Guess Weber's not so bad after all huh?

Great win for this team going into conference play

WEBER STATE WEBER STATE GREAT GREAT GREAT

Wow, didn't watch the game but just saw the final score. Way to go Cats! Feels great beating the Ags, but beating them in Logan in front of their home fans feels beyond great.

Well poop...there goes another perfectly good streak.

Nothing better than being in the Spectrum watching the Cats pull off that win!
