Utah State

Jeremy Senglin also passed both Jimmie Watts and Willie Sojourner to move into fifth on Weber State's all-time scoring list. He's only three made 3-pointers away from passing Scotty B as WSU's career leader, as well.

I didn't get to watch the game last night due to prior engagements so I just got done watching it today and man what a game. It's great to see Weber put it away late and not let it slip away like so many times before. It's great to finally see Harding drop a three and Richardson flexing at the USU students after he hit that 3 he got fouled on was priceless. Huge win for our team going into what's going to be the toughest road trip of the Big Sky season with 3 straight road games against 3 straight rivals.

My :wtf: things though...

1. Utah State.... SERIOUSLY you need to get some new commentators, there are homers and then there are those guys. I always thought that UNC and Sac had bad announcers but holy crap these guys were bad. They complained the whole time about the fouls they didn't call on Weber yet never said one thing about how Utah State was in the double bonus for almost the entirety of the 2nd half.

2. Jeremy Senglin's 5th foul...... :wtf: was that ref watching??? That was a terrible call, Senglin didn't even put enough body on that Aggie to cause him to fall back, unless that Aggie weighs like 2 pounds. Horrible, Horrible, HORRIBLE home court call. :dunce:

Good job Cats and Randy. Last time we were in Logan we made zero adjustments once the Aggies started rolling and we melted down. I loved the adjustment on Moore. I loved how Harding and Richardson stepped up when Jeremy got into foul trouble. I also thought Hill and Braxton did enough in the paint to give us the W in Logan. What a great team win!

Look out for Harding. He is something special for sure. We lose 3 seniors this next year but watching his development makes me super excited. He commented to Garside that Gittens has been coaching him up and helping him stay positive. Thanks for being a team guy Richaud and helping this team succeed even though you are hurt. Harding was one of the main keys to the win last night.

I just wish that we could find this level of chemistry, leadership and coaching in late November instead of late December. We are a few made free throws and late game meltdown plays from being 8-3. Although the difference between 8-3 and 5-6 does not matter in terms of winning the Big Sky this season, it may have helped us bump up from a 15 or 16 seed to a 14 or even 13. But we need to go out and win this very pathetic league. I am hoping we can dominate most games.

We get the real conference road test right out of the gate. I hope we can keep this momentum going. Although I would love to see a road sweep, I think the realistic Montana swing expectation should always be coming back with a split.

I thought that there was no way in Hell that this team would finish the OOC slate by beating UVU and USU, but I am so glad that I was wrong.
