UVU

[Tube Socks]

UVU scored 84 points in their season opener over Western Colorado, who scored 63. UVU didn't look great against a lower opponent, with 20 turnovers and giving up 17 offensive rebounds. They shot good percentages, 49 and 40, but you might expect a better performance against a team like Western Colorado. They did have an amazing 23 steals and 25 assists, and scored 52 points in the paint. Could be a really tough test for this young Wildcats team.

This is a big game. Duft teams came in and treated it like a scrimmage while UVU was fired up. I want to see the Wildcats fired up and pushing the tempo and not giving an inch on defense. If they do that, I will be good…even if they fall short…but these are the games that matter for recruiting…so winning is important!
