• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

UW roll call

I will be there with a couple of other friends sitting in the lake side endzone in the section farthest north (Husky sideline). Where the old bleachers used to be, thats where I saw many a Husky game as a kid when Don James first got there. Had Husky season tickets for 10 years and never thought I would go there wearing another teams colors. My oldest daughter couldn't beleve it when she asked me who I was rooting for.
On a side note if you came to the game in 2011 and you're sitting with all the EWU fans, the visitors section is now on the upper deck on the lake end of the stadium. I think that is kind of a cheap move but sadly its ALL about MONEY these days.

Everyone have a great day and cheer loud!

My wife and daughter are going with me, younger daughter hanging out with her cousins in Wenatchee. We leave around noon today and we could not be more excited about this road trip. Like some other posters, I've been to many Husky games as my dad was an alumnus and I was a Don James fan. To say I'm no longer a fan is an understatement. Money rules the UW campus and not just at athletics. I wish they would privatize the school so our shrinking state resources could be focused on our community colleges.

I would expect many of us to ask for an audit of how UW spends their money after we beat them tomorrow. I often joke they spend more money in one day than we spend all year at EWU Athletics. I fully understand that UW Athletics can damn near print their own money but to say the taxpayer has no role in subsidizing UW Athletics isn't accurate. The taxpayer helped establish the foundation of UW Athletics decades ago. It has been a good investment but it is time for more scrutiny regarding salaries etc.

Our coaching staff deserves more support win or lose tomorrow. There is no doubt the WA state taxpayer is getting full value from any subsidies EWU Athletics receives. We are without question the top Division One football program in the state of Washington. Thank you UW for the opportunity to prove that tomorrow. Go Eagles, win or lose tomorrow it will be a great day to be an Eagle.
