Venky shot 5 of 7 FT last night in Cedar City. :thumb: He was only 2-9 in Flag but 4-5 against Sac in Cheney. He was 5-7 vs Portland in Cheney but 2-5 in Msla and 3-10 in Bozeman. Showing he can get that part of his game done, just needs some consistency.

Venky went 6 for 10 last night from the charity stripe. You'd like to see 70% but 6 for 10 isn't the worst I've ever seen. The funny part is, he has decent form. His shot looks alright mechanically. Many of his makes have been all net. Some of his misses take off coats of paint. :lol: Love that guy though! Probably one of my all time favorite eags in any sport. He can carry our team when he wants to and he is nearing the all-time EWU scoring record from what I understand. Only 76 points behind Ron Cox for the school record. That is saying a lot for those of you that know Eag hoops. He also went into last nights game ranked 4th in the entire NCAA in field goal percentage. I'll take 6 of 10 from Venky considering what he brings to the table. I love his intensity. JUST A MONSTER!

It seems like he is aiming the ball rather than just shooting, but I've seen a big improvement.
