"@ebosshoops: Weber State getting it done. Arlington (Texas) Bowie shooting guard Jeremy Senglin committed today. He's a shooter with deep range." "@ebosshoops: Between Jeremy Senglin and Richaud Gittens, Weber State has two nice wings coming in. Gittens the slasher, Senglin the shooter. Both 3-stars"

I heard Jeremy was #1 on our list this season. Quality work by our staff yet again.

Heard his top 5 included teams like Nebraska, Colorado State, Tulsa, TCU... excellent work done here! He looks like he will be really excellent. Between him and Gittens, gotta love what WSU is doing here.

Solid committments for the Cats. But this kinda puts us in a USU conundrum. 14 doesn't equal 13. From what I can see, Weber will have 14 Scholarship players on the team next year.

I wouldn't wory a bit about the scholarship count. These things always have a way of working themselves out. We don't really know who is and isn't on a grant in aid. We have two seniors this year and are bringing in two freshmen next year. That is, about, all the math we need to know right now. Down the road, things could change, and often do, but that is down the road and not something that can be any road blocks to us now. :coffee:

Now that I have had all afternoon to digest this info, I think it is possible that one more commitment could be coming. It would not be a guard. If the right player were to commit, I believe that room would be made. Also, I cann't remember a year when at least one player didn't move on to other oportunities. It's a fact of life in all D1 programs. It usually has little to do with how good the players are, but more to do with how good the fit is between the school, the coach, and the player. We, as fans, don't like to see any of our good players leave. It just happens and we are forced to move on. Just as the players do. :twocents:
