After some cold shooting out of the gate I thought we looked pretty solid last night, albeit against Linfield.

Some thoughts:

- I can tell right now that I'm going to be a big fan of Tucker. Great energy, especially on the defensive end. Combined with Bamba, I think we'll see good things this season when they're on the floor together.

- We looked good from the free throw line.

- Very active on defense and a lot of deflected balls and forced turnovers.

- Cason doesn't quite look to be in game shape. He seemed a bit gassed during his first few minutes on the court. Didn't he have a pretty extended time off the court due to ACL surgery?

Onward to USC next weekend. It'd be really nice to see us play well and compete down in LA. USC isn't supposed to do much of anything in the Pac-12 this season, so perhaps we can sneak a win out down there.

Four minutes into the game and the score was 2-0 ?! Yeah, a slow start. But we made up for it quickly. What's impressive were the bench points. No one played an inordinate number of minutes- Plenty of chances to play different combinations. It's early, but it does look good for the season.
