That second pick thrown by KM was worse than I remember. 2nd and long, thrown off his back foot and forced into traffic. Just dump that ball and move on to the next play. As it turned out that was quite a momentum change to start the second half.

If there is anything to be gleaned from the games last week, I would say most teams are walking a tightrope every week. If any team is missing or losing a key player, their fortunes can turn.

PSU is no exception. I hope with the emergence of Tago and Long, maybe a run game more reminiscent of what DJ Adams provided last season will free up the offense a little more. To his credit, the runs Shaq Richard had where he ran north south he looked better. The problem seems to be that he doesn't hit the line hard every carry, he will seem to stop and look for a seam. Kieran looked much better, but he still throws off that back foot a lot. Probably not able to correct that at this point in his career, so over throws are going to be a fact of life.

US Davis is not a great team, but maybe with another week under their belt they can continue to improve.
