The shooting did continue!!! What a great win for the Jacks, at 3-4 in conference we're back in the thick of things and playing well. Now we need to defend home court and build on these two wins. PSU is a good team and it's not easy to beat them on their home court. I'm really surprised at how much NAU has improved over the last month. This current team has flashes of the 06 team that lost to Montana in the conference final. Eric Platt reminds me of Steve Sir so much, I hope he stays out injury trouble and keeps up the good shooting because we're going to need him.
Nice win Jacks, it was a good weekend for NAU athletics, hope it continues.
Yes, King, I stand corrected re: NAU's second half shooting percentage. That was close to perfection other than a let down for a few minutes in the second left that got PSU back in the game. The only stats the Jacks lost out on were turnovers and offensive rebounds and neither was by an overwhelming margin.
Playing their best games in conference for the season on the road @ EWU and PSU where history has never been kind to NAU certainly bodes well. Like the Monty Python Holy Grail quote: the Lumberjacks aren't dead yet.
