Voice of the Jazz breaks down Lillard

David Locke (voice of the Jazz) breaks down Damian Lillard. I think he does a decent breakdown of the final 2 games of the Big Sky tournament this year. That being said Weber State was on a decline in those 2 games as well. I think his sample size is really small and definitely at a bad time for Lillard... But that being said those 2 games were probably the most important this season... So it is what is. Damian is better than what those 2 games showed.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

This breakdown by Locke is NOT very good. He basis his analysis on 2 games of Lillard's career. This is VERY typical of the SLC media. Not doing homework on a player from Weber, and only watching 2 games to base an opinion on. Obviously the NBA scouts and GM's have seen a lot more games and have done a more complete analysis on Lillard and have deemed him worthy of a top 10 pic. I really don't care for or like Locke. IMO he is terrible with play by play for the Jazz and obviously he knows very little about Weber State or Lillard.

Agreed, Locke=Douchebag. Btw, DJ&PK can suck it as well. Wildcat Carl Arky is the BEST sports personality in the Beehive State.

Salt Lake Media give Weber a fair shake? Yeah right...I'm shocked, even though the Jazz and its GM Kevin O, are doing everything in their power to get Lillard, that this half brain would even chime in on the situation. The Jazz have been the most interested organization for a while. They have been scouting Lillard since the end of his sophmore year. Locke has his panties in a bunch because Lillard is a better player than Jimmer and will be a far better professional than BYU's, admittedly, former star (Yes, Jimmer is a good basketball player and deserved most of the accolades he received). Lets also be honest, Locke is an idiot who uses his hand to wipe his ass.

I find it kind of funny. Lillard spends 3 full years playing great basketball 30 miles north of SLC and the local sports bozos don't ever bother to make the trip to watch him play and are then caught with their pants down and their junk hanging in the breeze when he becomes literally the biggest story of the NBA draft.

Locke is a bombastic blowhard whose greatest claim to credibility is his annoying insistence that he is always, somehow correct -- even when he is making a complete a$$ of himself.

With the Lillard story most of them are looking really stupid (I will withhold Zundel who treats us very fairly) as national sports writers are completely beating them on a story in their own backyard.

Locke has no credibility at all. I never listen to him.
Rod Zundell and Arky are the only TV guys who know anything about Weber. The rest can crawl in a hole and die.
