INDIANAPOLIS -- It was a little touch and go there for a bit, but Hawai'i Athletics and the NCAA released late this afternoon (Thursday, Dec. 1) that tonight's NCAA Tournament First Round volleyball match between the Bears and the Rainbow Wahine will be broadcast over the Web and available for viewing on a pay-per-view basis.

Northern Colorado (22-8) and Hawai'i (29-1) are scheduled to face off at 10 p.m. (MT) from the Stan Sheriff Center, and fans of the Bears can follow along by clicking on the following link: https://secure.oceanic.com/Streaming/

The cost to purchase the match is $6.28. Making that purchase will give viewers access to Northern Colorado vs. Hawai'i and access to Oregon (21-9) vs. Colorado (23-5), tonight's other first-round match in Honolulu.

Both matches are scheduled to be televised in Hawai'i through cable service Oceanic Time Warner. The online feed is part of Road Runner Warrior Online, which provides live online viewing for many University of Hawaii athletic events from any computer in the world.

It was waaaaay too late for me to stay up for this one.

Even though we were swept, it looks like the women battled hard (getting 21 points in the first game and 15 in the last 2). Sucks to be matched up against the best seeds in the Nation but that is what the tournament is about.

Great job Big Sky Champs. :thumb:
