I think a few fans owe it to Rahe and this team to come on here and congratulate them for the win.
I am very happy that a team coached by Rahe beat BYU!! He is now 1-12 (or 2-11?) against them. He still has a 0.08% winning percentage against BYU. In the all-time series it is 33-11. Rahe is responsible for 37% of the losses. I am thrilled to have beat BYU, but it doesnt change the fact that Rahe is still lousy against BYU (1-12). Now, can we continue to get the series back to respectable in time, sure, but we have to do better than one win every 13 years.
We currently have a winning streak vs. BYU, Utah, USU, SUU, Westminster, and probably DSU. We need to beat USU on Saturday to keep that streak alive at 3, and we need to beat UVU on the 15th to start a streak. That would be a winning streak vs all teams in the state.
