vs. Cal Poly Game Day Thread

The 441 yards rushing today was a Big Sky Conference record. Not bad for a pass-first offense.

I thought the record was for the 14.7 yards per attempt. Not sure though, as the link to the Big Sky conference records seems to be broken.

Think it was 14.7 yd/carry, the old record was 11.1 by Cal Poly a few years ago.

CP 40 mins Eags 20 mins; Eags had 136 tackles ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY SIX this is a group and solo tackling stat, but pretty incredible

One stat line that stands out M Johnson: 4 tackles, 3 solo, 2TFL, 1 sack, 1 FF... This dude is a dude. Don't know how many minutes he got.

Your Mustangs will give many of the teams in the Big Sky troubles.
I was impressed with the O-line, They pushed our guys around pretty good, when subs came in there was a considerable drop off.

How the hell do they recruit receivers to come to Cal Poly?????

"Hey kid, you wanna play D-I or D-II?" *slides scholarship off across table*

Kid: "But I'm in the band...whatever, f*ck it."

My buddy and I were joking about that during the game on Saturday. Imagine the sell to a WR out of high school to play at CP?

Don't recruit any. Just recruit twice as many defensive secondary players and convert any that suck into WR (a.k.a extra blockers)

Cal Poly is a very good school. Maybe not to the level of UC Davis, but definitely one of the best in the conference. Guess it depends on how much the good cares about academics...
