That freshman is young. However, it appears that he has not even been adequately prepared to take the field. The guy looks completely lost at times, no field awareness. Were we watching the same Qb? His arm strength is clearly better than Bell or Taylor. I thought he did a fine job for being thrown into the game. He's far from being the reason we lost this game.

It's definitely the worst offense of the past 20 years, but overall worst...that's debatable. The 2022 and 2023 teams would probably give this one a run for their money.

Exactly. Bell is the entire offense. Before this game I kept thinking that if he goes out we are in an even bigger world of shit.

Just an all-around ugly game. I think the only positive take-away is that Schakel looked good at times.

Bell does a whole lot with the Ball that nobody else can do. But in terms of arm strength and accuracy, I think Schakel has him by a country mile.
