The thing that really bothers me is that there literally isn't one thing this team does well. You always need something to hang your hat on and have the mentality that - if all else fails- at least we do this one thing pretty well. There's nothing, especially on offense.

If I was going to look for anything positive, I'd say the defense is tougher this year than in the past. Not necessarily better, but tougher. We don't fade in games. That's not much, but it is a singular noticeable improvement.

Year after year, this team just seems stuck in sub-mediocrity.

LDopaPDX , well said. EWU pretty much sucks sports wise. Soccer is okay though. Mens BB maybe okay as well . LYNN DICKEY was very average at best as an AD. All the EWU sports are paying a price for her terrible decisions as an AD. She walks away with a cadillac pension and EWU still pays for her mediocrity.​

I watched the VOD on ESPN. Seemed like Schakel did a pretty good job. They made it to the red zone a few times but failed to score at all. I dunno if it was bad execution or play calling. I kind of put that on the coaches not having a better red zone scoring plan.
