. This is our time to shine be there or be square. Llike I have said before on other forums I am bringing a lot of people with me. If you don't feel the fervor let me spread it to you!

I'm with you Viking1985. Seems like most people are quiet here because of the loss to McNeese. I guess they overlooked the fact McNeese was rated #10, had almost everyone back from last year, which was a playoff team and the game was played in LA. I hate to lose, but some perspective of the big picture is important. A victory over Cal-Davis is very important and I'll be yelling my head off to help the Viks get a victory.

I think the team will be pumped by the crowd, especially the guys who've been here a few years and know what normal home opening crowds have been like. I was at the UNC game last year, and I'm not even sure we had 5k at that one.

If I dare add something...

One of the Timbers Army slogans / songs... ROSE CITY 'TIL I DIE.

If you're waiting for the team to perform well to show enthusiasm, you're missing the point of being a fan.. though I'll grant that screaming on a message board has little to do with the energy required in the stadium. Still, PGE Park should be three hours of Hell from the stands.

Freakin beat the Ags!

(One note: the main Army superstition has become that you don't actually chant Rose City 'Til I Die until the Timbers are scored upon, lest you shall CAUSE a goal against. I do not believe that superstition should necessarily carry over to PSU, but that's up to you. I'd teach more songs here, but we tend to find that the NCAA frowns on profanity more than even some front office folks at PGE.)

Hey don't leave me out,

I got all kinds of enthusiasim

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Ill be at every home game Win or Lose.

I'm excited, but I don't get back to Portland for another week, so I'll have to catch it on 910. One plus to being a smaller program is that you don't have to pay for the online radio broadcasts.

I don't think that we'll have to pay for the broadcasts as long as we are in the KTRO deal.
