WATCH PARTY For Griz - 3 Options

I have been informed that the D.E.C. will be open to view the game on the jumbotron. I just read Roy Burtons piece in the paper this morning and there was no mention of it. He only mentioned the watch party at the Alumni Ctr. Is there a way to find out if we can combile these two events and have a wild and crazy crowd at the D.E.C. ?
If so can we let the WSU Newspape, The Ogden Newspaper know about it? I think we can do something HUGE here. Yes I know it is Monday but miracles don't just happen...they are created. I have a vision...do you?
It would be awesome to pack in several hundred fans and let the team know we have their back here at home.
Any one can call ot text my cell if you want and let's create this.
It all comes down to how much are you willing to DEW for a WILDCAT VICTORY? Heck, I'll even donate another case of Dew for the VICTORY DEW!

I am born2bleedpurpleguy and I approve of this message.

If the DEC is open to the public that would be awesome, if not, no worries. If it is, we, those of use going to McCools should really support the administration, team, and school and go to the DEC. I have put in a call to the AD, to see. Hoping to hear back soon. But I thoroughly agree. Whatever is happening elsewhere on campus, for this game, should be cancelled and sent to the DEC.

Several folks on twitter are confirming that the Dee will be open to the public... Nothing totally "official" yet (press release, etc.) but some guys who know are saying that it's happening.

Men's basketball watch party at the Dee on Tuesday

OGDEN, Utah -- Weber State fans looking for a chance to get together and watch the Wildcat men's basketball team take on rival Montana in a huge, winner-take-all showdown for the Big Sky Conference's regular season championship on Tuesday night will have several local options.

The game, which pits Weber State (14-1 Big Sky, 23-4 overall) against Montana (14-1 Big Sky, 22-6 overall), is scheduled to tipoff at 7 p.m. at Dahlberg Arena in Missoula, Mont., and will be shown live on Altitude.

Weber State will open up the Dee Events Center to allow fans to watch the game on the arena video board. Due to technological and time constraints, the television feed will be available in standard definition only. There will be no charge, and the event will be open to the general public. Fans wanting to come to the Dee to watch the game are asked to enter through the East entrance of the building. The doors will open at 7 p.m. Also, please note that because of a previously scheduled event at the DEC, it will not be possible to open the doors until the 7 p.m. start time.

In addition, the Weber State Student Alumni Association and Wildcat Club will host a watch party at the Lindquist Alumni Center. Seating at the Alumni Center is limited to the first 100 people to RSVP at alumni.weber.edu/hoops or call 801-626-7535. This event is open to members of the Wildcat Club, Alumni Association, and Student Alumni Association.

MacCools Public House, located inside the Ben Lomond Suites Hotel at 2510 Washington Blvd in Ogden, will also be hosting a watch party for the general public. MacCools will have several dinner specials for under $6, as well as half-price appetizers, for Wildcat fans to enjoy.

Me and my dad are gonna be watching from the comfort of our couch viewing on our extremely large tv having a ball cheering on the Wildcats.

GO WEBER

It's, "My dad and I." Geesh! LOL. Just kidding. I'll be watching it from home too. It's easier to enjoy a game from home than be in public worrying about the little ones all the time.

I really wish I could do either the McCools, Alumni party or DEC event. It looks like a lot of fun stuff is going on.

Wildcat, remember when you type you are representing the education you got at Weber. Straighten that grammar up.. You too Tal.. oh except you went to USU so I can understand your goof ups.

Son, you can't say either and then list 3 options. Their can only be 2 when saying either, either A or B. Not A, B and C. Has your education also been altered by USU like Sir Talhadn't?

hey that is perfectly acceptable in "informal" settings. I just looked it up on wiki. lol. In any case, my education wasn't altered by USU, it was UofU that screwed me up.

My son,

This would also explain why you think Wikipedia is a scholarly source. :coffee:

Darn it! It's league night and 5 members of our family (including Dame's mom) bowl. I am sitting here trying to decide---stay home and watch the game and let my team down or go to the lanes with my laptop and try to watch while bowling...the latter does not sound like a lot of fun. What to doooo :wall: ?

I signed up to go and watch at the Alumni Center, but it looks like a lot of people are going to be at the Dee watching the game so I am wondering if I should just go to the Dee. What does everyone think?

Sounds like ya'all..or is it...ya-some?...wanna make The DEE the place to be. I will be at all 3 capturing what will soon be a momentous victory celebration. For those going to The DEE, I will STILL furnish a case of DEW for the VICTORY DEW.
