We got a home game on ESPN2!!!!! What?!?!??

Just saw that second one on FB. You beat me to it!

It's gonna be great seeing our Hornets destroy the Griz on TV since I'm based in SoCal now and can't go to the game....
 
This is huge as it provides national exposure. Some interesting viewership facts from 2021:

Montana vs EWU drew .15 or 250k viewers at 10:30 pm.

Early in the season the 7pm slot garnered 500k to 1 million depending on teams.

Around our point in the season the time slot drew 400k to 700k viewers.

By this part of the season conference standings will have really crystallized so this game might get pitched as helping to shape playoff race with 4 games to go.

We better fill those stands up, Montana will travel well for this if we don’t.
 
This is great news. And, yes, we need to rep the school/program and our city by filling up those stands!

Then our Hornets need to do the rest by beating the Griz for what I believe would be a 3rd consecutive time!
 
This is a big deal and will be great exposure for the program and the university. 8pm kickoff time will suck for those with younger kids and the older crowd, but I guess that's the trade off for a nationally televised game.
