The athletic department is selling used football gear. We must be desperate for money, this is just sad, usually this stuff gets donated... :?

The Washington Capitals do a sale every year at the end of the season. They sell everything from pads to sticks. I used to go when I was in high school (and still played hockey). It was great to get sticks that the players didn't use (but had their names stamped on them).

I would buy one of the new football helmets, but doubt they'll sell the new stuff. The money will go towards scholarships. I think all sells of UNC merchandise goes towards that.
