how's the hurricane in portland going?

my dad has a couple trees fallen over near his house

So while at work today, it was sunny while walking to lunch, walking back was freezing cold, 10 minutes later it is hailing and then snowing like a blizzard. And not just a little bit of snow but quarter-size flakes. And now, 2 hrs later, clear blue skies and sunny again.
