Weber State Game Thread

Weber always plays us tough. That said, they better come out ready for bear, cause next week the Griz are going to be looking to make a come back. (Did you see what I did there?).

Painful game to watch. A win is a win, but we just did not look like a very good team tonight.

Offense - C
Defense - D
Special Teams - C

The last 5 mins were painful to watch BUT! I would give the:

offense an A - (played well but shouldve converted to FGs to TDs)
Defense a B+/C- (extremely well in the first half, and completely average in the 2nd... but they didnt let them score & thats what counts. AND they forced a turnover to end it.)

Look at the positives from today

- We won our first conference game
- We didn't play well and still won on the road
- Vernon Adams gained some valuable experience
- The Griz lost
- 2 teams ahead of us in the rankings lost (sam houston and n. iowa)

We get to come home next week as the 7th (most likely) ranked team in the nation against a defeated Griz team. Things are already looking good, its a great day to be an Eag!

Certainly a lot to work on lots of ???s, but all in all, a great day: EWU wins, the Griz lose, and WSU Coug'd it!

And Idaho lost to Wyoming in OT... Teeth gnashing is echoing throughout the region!
