Weber to play byu 2012

i guess i should stop posting on this thread when my point is moot when clearly everyone else would rather participate in a "measuring stick" contest then get to the playoffs.

"As we build our program, we're going to play a few of those games, and not just for the guarantee," Bovee said. "We've got to see how we measure up, where do we really fit in. That's a good barometer to see where you're at."

i agree it is a good barometer if our goal is to move up to the wac in the next few yrs.

You are not alone there Catcat, I too would rather see Weber get home and homes set up with the likes of UNI, SFA, Sam Houston, The 9th wonder of the world NDSU, W&Mary, App St etc, then set up road games with the likes of BYU, Utah and Utah State. We have tasted the playoffs, and I want it back, and with 2 FBS games, we are killing our chances.

Unfortunately, Weber needs the money and we are forced to play these games, I just wish it was ONE a year.
