Weber vs. Eags: game thread

One thing I saw from Eastern tonight, if you make them go inside you'll beat them everytime, EWU had absolutely no inside game tonight, thier only game was outside shooting.

and Weber is playing great right now, this 5 game win streak is B-E-A-utiful and now we get to return home to take on a Portland State team who has seemed to give up on the season. It should be a win.

Lets go Weber we still have a shot at hosting, its slim, but still possible.

That B2TV feed was awfull. If EWU has hired some company to do that, they should get their money back. They can probably get some frat guy to do it for nothing and the quality wouldn't be any worse.

If we can't host, then I still say hosting a first round game is better than getting second, only to be sitting idle, waiting to play the next best team at a nutral site.

WE HAVE A CHANCE TO HOST! COME ON NAU. WE WIN OUT, NAU TAKES 4TH, UM AND NC LOSE ONE...WE HOST!

ISU beats NAU 90-88 according to SI. We are going to need alot of help to host this year.

Great win tonight, Scotty B for POW honors!

I still think NAU will take 4th. MSU is looking horrid, and we still get to give EWU another loss.

Bamforth for POW, hell yes... How about first team All-Conference

skeeter is right. nau has some wins left in them. dont forget last week at home they beat unc, um and msu. nau has a lot to play for, 4th place and get a home game.

dont forget yall that psu is irrelevant in our predictions for post season scenarios and ewu and isu aren't gonna be passing up the jacks. but we need the jacks to win at unc.

I agree with you 100% , if we dont host I want 3rd and an extra home game, think about it, we could be that next best team going in already have played a game.

Amen, lets get that home game. Scotty B had a shot at POW honors but i think Bull should get it, averaging a double-double while holding Cam Jones to only 13 points. those numbers show me more of a POW than and average of 22 points a game.

THe way the Big Sky is going now, If Weber finishes 3rd, we would probably host either MSU or EWU, I like our chances in both of those games.

That was my feeling last night when I found out that Weber won. I was at the married dance at the institute. I was wearing my royal purple tuxedo shirt along with my knee high purple socks that CatCat gave me before he moved. It's a funny thing good ole superstition works. That was my contribution to the victory last evening. And we won...

Thanks Willie!!!

Tell me TurdF is a figment of catcat's imagination.... They don't really have married dances at the instifruit, do they?

Thanks Willie

Unfortunately, for ALL of us, they do have married dances at the fruitatute.

Turd...I'm pretty sure that CATCAT wouldn't have EVER wanted you wearing those socks at the fruitatute, but I don't care. It was a fun game to watch, once the feed started working with 8 mins to go in the game. LOOOL

Good Win by the Cats.

Honestly, I think Eastern needs to keep Earlywine. He has a lot of raw, young, talent on that team. Next year, with some luck and no injuries, Earlywine could have a good looking team that could possibly contend.

I really hope that Dean is going to be alright. It looked like he would be, but who knows. He did suffer a pretty bad injury earlier in the year.

guess how many seniors ewu has this yr?

0!!! WOW!! I had no idea. Earlywine is betting everything on speed though. Their biggest guy is Carter Warnock 6-9, who I believe is red shirtting. Even being undersized, the Eagles are still a decent rebounding team.

6 Fresh
3 Sophs (Three best players: Dean, Forbes, and Winford)
6 Juniors (Tremayne Johnson, Colimon, and Ederaine, and Larron Griffin)

With this type of talent, I really think it would be wise if Eastern kept Earlywine for another year. Its taken a bit for him to build up the program, but I really think he has the team headed in the right direction and should stay at the helm.

I agree. EWU is very competitive and seems to be peaking at the right time. Next year looks good for them. Kirk is moving them in the right direction. Changing coaches at this juncture would just set them back again.

The only coach I see as threatened is at ISU. That program is going in the wrong direction.

You want us to have to beat NAU, MT and NCU? That is 3 games in 5 days.
