Weber Vs. The University of Utah

I think we can beat some of these numbers.

> Utah ranks third in the nation in total defense (199.50), sixth in pass defense (138.25) and 10th in rushing defense (61.25). The Utes also rank second in the nation in opponent first downs (43) and tackles for loss (9.75).

> Utah leads the league in pass defense (138.25) and opponent fourth down conversion rate (25%). Utah ranks second in the league in rushing defense (61.25), total defense (199.50), pass efficiency defense (104.8), opponent third down conversion rate (28.6) and opponent first downs (43).

> Utah held Michigan, Utah State and Air Force to under 60 yards rushing.

> Air Force rushed for just 53 yards against Utah--300 below its season average entering the game--and the lowest rushing total by an Air Force team since 1980.

> In 16 quarters of play, Utah has held its opponents to less than 15 yards rushing in 11. In six of those 11 quarters, opponents compiled negative rushing yards.

> Utah held Utah State to the second-lowest total offense total in a game (116 yards) by an FBS team this year.

i think we can get 61 yds rushing n 138 yds passing. Utah allowing 19 ppg and only 10 to USU

Pretty cool what Mac said:

"The bottom line is we lost. I came here to win, I don't come here to lose. I don't care if we're Subdivision Eight or whatever it is; we came here to play football," McBride said. "I'm proud of how we played. I loved this game. I'd like to play against them tomorrow, see if we could do better."

There is no coulda, we would work the Aggies, and that is probably why they have not scheduled us. They don't want to lose to us and prove they are the 2nd worst team in the state of Utah (sorry SUU, you have the honors of the worst)

I talked to an aggie coach that said they are planning on scheduling WSU for 2010. I believe 2009 and 2011 are Wyoming already.

Mac said they haven't discussed the USU game for 2010 but he would love for it to happen as well.

Weberhoops now has a blog up as a response to dumb utah fans saying Mac "ran up the score." Dumbest thing i've ever heard.

Check it out
