The question.
What is it going to take to get a fair game called on the road?
Refs are people. We all know that some people have a lot more integrity than others. The refs for most OOC games are hired by the home team. What refs do you think they want the most? All they really want is an unfair advantage;-) Southern Utah used to hire a farmer and two local cops to do their games. That sounds like a formula for a win, right? If the NCAA would take over all scheduling of officials, it would help. It would also help with conference road games. When we all begin to know each ref by their first names, and the kind of calls they like to make, that is too much familiarity. You are still going to have bad refs, they wiil just be spread out accross the country and the weaker refs will get better out of nessesity.
Anyways, I can dream, can't I?
