Weber vs WYO

Weber gives up a long pass play on 3rd and long that gets to inside the 5 and then gives up the TD on the next play... EP missed. Wyoming 16-9 WSU.

Anybody listening to this on KLO? I love Dutch, but he needs to not present the game as a fan... He always reacts with a groan or a yell or something when he sees something that he doesn't like or when something exciting happens and oftentimes it interrupts Arky's call of the game. It is especially bad because we aren't watching the game with him and can't see what he is groaning or yelling about until he verbally communicates it to the audience.

Nice try there Ace, Dutch is not on KLO today. the guy you are complaining about is B-rad Larsen

I like Brad too, needs to practice the color commentary, though.

Is that now 4 INT's by Higgins? Wow.

Check that... Make that 5 INT's. Only had 9 all of last year. Incredible!

Hard to win a game when you keep giving your opponent the ball inside of your territory and you keep getting it back deep in your own territory.

End of the 3rd. Big run by Smith deep into Cowboy territory. WSU has to score a TD here if they hope to stay in this game. Another INT here would be tragic.

FG for WYO. Wyoming 26-7 WSU. 9:45 to go. That blocked FG appears to have been the straw that broke the Cats' backs.

5 Interceptions, shanked kicks, penalized for substitution errors, missed tackles....can't do that and win a game, throw in a few bad calls and that adds up to a loss. back to the drawing board, adjust, and move on. nice to see some fans there....GO WILDCATS

Why was Snoy kicking off and FG's?

29-22, not bad for 5 interceptions and a ton of penalties. Our D did a very good job...Wyo shoulda had 40+ points.

Is Williams hurt? Defense did good, LB's need some work, but they came on strong 3rd quarter....lot of questionable calls.....Pass Interference should be redefined as pass tackling.....tough calls, and Wyoming gets all the breaks....tough.

5 int's is the real crux though, can't get around those picks....next week is Colorado State, just gotta regroup and focus!!!

Even though Weber had, it seems like, a million penalties and turnovers, Weber should have won this game. The defense played great, the offense, well they looked good at times, and absolutely atrocious at other times. In a sense, that is to be expected, Wyoming has one of the toughest D's in the nation. Its good to know that the offense could make the necessary adjustments in the game to find success, to bad they were a bit too late. NO matter, Weber still should have won. What was with the blocked field goal? Weber needed a TD not a Field goal, and the defense was proving that they could stop the pokes, why didn't Weber go for it? There is nothing to lose in a game of this nature, but everything to gain. Weber should have gone for it. A TD at that point on a 4th down really would have energized our team. Oh well...

In my opinion though, the MVP's for Wyoming should be their Refs (it seemed as if this crew was from Casper, Gillete, or Cheyenne) Weber got homered. Yes, there were some very definite penalties, but a few definite head scratchers. The clipping call on Toones big run, the illegal motion on a TD, the holding call on Phillips 26yard reception, which would have put the cats inside the red zone, each, phantom calls, and each momentum changing calls. Yes, the running into the kicker penalty did happen, but the kicker did a great job of running into a Cat who had been blocked into the kicker, and then he did and even better job of falling down. Christensen should be real proud of the way his team won the game. Its one thing to play the game competing against a supposedly superior team, in a superior conference, but its an even toughter feat to play against a FBS team and then have to beat their crocked refs as well. A definite shame. This crew should be suspended, and sent back to reffing local Wyoming high school games.

i thought i was at a baseball game, with the way we were being 'homered'. those refs made some absolutely incredulous calls.....and if you remember, they were after the play.....illegal motion, that flag should have been tossed and the play stopped.....like it is in every other organized football game on this planet......

one call doesn't make the game, but i don't mind getting beat, but don't cheat.......either the refs were broke back fans, or relatives of 'cowboy ken' (the guy walking around their stadium with only a pair of boots, cowboy hat, and a barrel over his body...yep, bday suit underneath.....whew, i need to forget that visual.

despite everything, we still had opportunities to win the game, and we didn't execute. that's life, next week when Texas rolls into town for their game........well, karma is good, what you give, so you shall receive.........yeeeehaaaaw

The refs did not run into the Wyoming punter, taunt a player on the ground, jump offsides, or throw FIVE interceptions.

We lost a winnable game defined by our own mistakes.

Whining is for losers and is unworthy of a championship pprogram.

Snoy was fantastic on kickoffs. I think he just won the job.

Williams has a shoulder injury. Not sure how it is affecting his kicking.
