It just got very interesting, NAU just beat Sac.

GO EAGS!

Go Cats!

Seriously... it would be amazing if things all fell in line on the last day for EWU to be outright champs and host the conference tourney...

  :thefan:

With the NAU win that should be a real incentive to play Eagle ball vs WSU. I think our chances of a victory just increased!

Had we just scored on one of those last possessions last week instead of throwing up air balls, this would be locked up by now. It would suck to wind up in Missoula because of that.

Totally agree... So many missed chances 3 Saturday's in a row. Just one Eagles and Bobcats win from erasing it all... at least it could be an exciting night

OK, odds favor EWU by 4pts and the over/under is at 144.5pts

Montana favored by 6 and 134pts is the over/under

So if both Montana and Eastern win tonight, we share the conference championship but Montana hosts?

i think with NAU beating Sac, that is what would happen if both teams win. if by some miracle MSU beats Montana then we would win the conference with a win over weber. can anyone confirm this?

Yes, everything is much simpler now with Sac losing. If we win and Montana loses, we win the conference and host. If Montana wins and we lose, then they win the conference and host. If both teams win, I do believe we share the conference title, but Montana still hosts due to the quirky unbalanced schedule.

I have no idea what happens if both Eastern and Montana lose.
