Markell Williams missed on a blitz. Painful. Payne got abused on a deep ball. NMSU in scoring position. Parker needs to double Franklin...or put Odiase on him. Davis with a terrible PI in the endzone gives NMSU 1st and goal. TD NMSU 14-0 under 12 mins to go. This should be enough for NMSU.
Heath with an awful punt. Maybe a net of 25 yards. McMahon gets burned. 21-0 NMSU. Zero push up front, Parker needs to start sending blitzes if this D wants to disrupt the pass.

I feel a lot better now; I was getting worried about our kicking game again.

WOW. Poor tackling gives up a huge play. Zone again. 28-3. Parker needs to give up on this zone, the pressure up front will never get to the QB to make it effective.

Maybe I shouldn't be concerned about our kicking game. New Mexico St shouldn't be "killing" us. If they do, we've got a lot of work to do..........

28-10 at the half. Nice answer right there at the end of the half by Safron and the offense. The Hornets should have another 7 (or at least 3) on the board but this team is fighting. Offense needs to keep it going but the defense needs to cover somebody. Plenty of time left for some magic, but I'm not holding my breathe on it.

We're back in striking distance if we can create a turnover in this next possession. We've got to put some pressure on them to see if they can handle it.

Our "D" has made some good adjustments and stepped it up a notch. They're looking better too this half. That's another good sign for this team and coaching staff.
