Week 10: #2 Sac State at #5 Weber State

Yikes that Weber drive to make is 16-14 was absolutely dominating. We look gassed. And our offense is stymied…

They are flagging us the whole way down the field, my lord!

The refs changed how they were calling the game on the last drive and basically affected the outcome of the game. It was a 10 pt game and with all of the calls on defense they really gave them a TD, that was poor. We dominated the game on both sides of the ball. Complete performance here.

33-30 Hornet win! Hornets really controlled the whole game as both sides of the ball made plays when needed. Special teams was the difference in this one, with both teams having major hiccups, fortunately that blown punt snap by Weebs had the impact that it did. The decision to kick it deep when WSU was gashing the Hornets on kick returns was very questionable, and WSU's decision to try an on-side kick with 4 minutes left and 2 timeouts was a headscratcher as well as that led to a Sentkowski FG to make it a 10 point game again. Amazing the impact these decisions had in the 4th quarter.

Agree that the refs really kept this one going for Weebs, the PIs at the end of the game really got out of control.

9-0!!! :notworthy:

That was two weeks ago you clown

Huge win and all you can post in the game thread is another troll job toward SH? That’s clownish.

So much for your “last post” here. SMH.

You actually have a lot to bring to the table when you talk Hornets football yet nothing to bring at all when you stalk all of SH’s posts. Be better than that, please. This crap is beyond old and tiring…..

Now about today’s big win over a conference rival — you got any thoughts?

Game management and decision making the last quarter was maddening to say the least.

That said, props to the team for winning a huge road game in difficult conditions against a quality opponent.

O’Hara’s TD dime to Marshel Martin was a thing of beauty.

Lastly, for the past several weeks the fanbase of our opponents all said essentially the same things. SAC is overrated and hasn’t faced a defense like ours.

Well, memo to Weber fans — like Griz and Idaho fans before you — the Hornets racked up 431 total yards and over 200 yards rushing against the vaunted Wildcat defense. And scored 31 points.

Scoreboard. :)

Weber lost their game against Montana State due to the same issue. Except he did it FOUR times for FOUR safeties in that game. And MTST scored 3 TD’s on the ensuing possessions after the free kicks.

You’d think Jay Hill would have found a replacement by now…

Just to keep it real, Sac has averaged 432 yds total offense against those 3 "overrated" defenses.

They are literally still commenting on every Hornet or big Sky social media posts a it, weeks later. I think SH may have been referencing that from one of the tweets I shared in this thread.

This is an all hands on deck student body call out situation. Like when Mike Leach does it to his kickers that miss lol.

I guarantee you there are guys on that campus that snapped in High School that wouldn’t have that much trouble, even
At D1, even in the rain. I saw the first snap was even off…

Speaking of crap that is old and tiring...
Who starts a post "Game management and decision making the last quarter was maddening to say the least" right after a HUGE WIN. Do you really think if you were running things our record would be better?
I'm positive you couldn't coach sweat to roll off my balls if I was standing on Georgia asphalt in August but every week you get on here and are critical of the coaching staff and players as if you were something more than a keyboard warrior with an overinflated opinion of your knowledge of the game.
And just leave the scouting reports to SD Hornet...he can't coach a lick either but he's a much better SID than you.
