Week 10 - vs UC Davis

Wildcats 4-5 / 3-3 (BSC) should have a decent chance @ home for a win & a break-even overall record. Last place (4 way tie) UC Davis has won just 1 game so far (against NAU) & are 1-7 / 1-4 (BSC). Game before last, SUU beat UC Davis 34-6 in CA., Davis was idle for Halloween.

A chance, after a painful, bitter, frustrating loss @ EWU, to be on course to end the season with a WINNING record vs. ISU at home on Nov 21. BYE Week follows this game against the UC Davis Aggies.

At least a real chance to wrap up the season on a POSITIVE note...always important & worth fighting for. :thumb:

6 Drew
Diagnosis--Spinal concussion
Should be back to normal within 48 hours

Best post you've made ncaa... On a serious note, glad to hear he will be ok. :thumb:

With the injury to Drew, I wouldn't doubt that they hold him out for the rest of the season. At least this week. Good to hear that it wasn't serious.

AS for UC Davis, hopeful that our Wildcats can get things straightened out after a tough loss to Eastern. Really, the team was playing for everything last week. Now, the Cats are playing for a winning season after three consecutive 2 win seasons. To win 6 games after only winning 6 games in three seasons would be huge. Even though the Cats don't really have a chance at getting to the playoffs, they need to finish the season strong and go into the off-season on a positive note.

This should be a very good chance of getting a home win, start strong, don't turn the damn ball over, and get out of there with a W. WSU can still finish 6-5 which is a huge improvement from previous years.

Weather is supposed to be pretty good, low 40's and sunny, perfect football weather, two home games left against teams we have a good chance of beating, no gimmies in this conference, UC Davis will come to play so we need to match their intensity and not keep shooting ourselves in the foot.

Knowing this team can finish with 6 wins is awesome to me, 3 straight seasons of two win seasons got really old.

GO WILDCATS

Should be very easy game for WSU. UC Davis is horrible and their coach is even worse. He was the RB coach at CAL when M Lynch was there and everyone thought he was a guru. Has been the worse head coach at Davis in 40 years.

Looks like we will be lucky to have less than 2000 fans at the game. Must be the lack of marketing, HA HA! It's a perfect November day. I think they get a bigger crowd at the Bountiful Braves High School games.

Game starts out like every game, first series and WSU can't convert because the receiver drops the ball. Some things are very consistent with WSU.

Two drops in two series in the first quarter. At this rate WSU will surpass my prediction of 40 drops by the WR this season. Trust me I am not a Clarke fan but no one is helping him. Didn't think I would of ever say that.

"In and out of the hands" of Stibling 89 in the end zone, three drops in the hands of the WR in 1st qtr. At this rate we could set a new ncaa record on drops. Per game.

Wsu is very fortunate that have played several teams this season where the starting or 2nd string qb of the opposing team are not available to play. Uc Davis is playing a 3 rd string freshman qb. Helps make the defense look very good

Yeah, especially against a run heavy team. Anyway, Tulane looks very good today.

That may be the ugliest pass I have ever seen in my life by Livingston. Wow what an athlete. Do these guys ever practice these trick plays???????

5 th dropped pass of the half. 2nd dropped pass in the end zone by 89 Stribling ,
Followed by a 6 th dropped pass on the busted field goal. We may be headed to 50 dropped passes for the season.

I underestimate myself. They open the 3 rd Qtr with a drop in the end zone for the 7 th drop of the game followed by a drop on the punt return by Denby 3. Does anyone care??
