Week 10 - vs UC Davis

Keep the count going. Just dropped pass number 8 by prince 85.
Guess Denby is hurt after he dropped the punt. Who the frick is 38. He almost returned a punt to the house. Nice to see no fair catch and not letting the ball hit the ground ....

Red Zone offense-- particularly play call-- is still just aweful-- and have to agree with ncaa on dropped passes and punt catches or lack there of. Still, it's good to be .500 with a shot at a winning record in two weeks. Here's to hoping for a blizzard for the potatoes from the north.

Davis had -12.3 point diff against all previous opponents so we'll take the 20 point win.

The D was sensational today. We held them to 16 total yards in the first half, 28 yards rushing for the entire game, 175 yards of total O.

Our O was OK. If not for the dropped passes, we score 45 or 50 against those guys. We dominated that team in almost every way. :thumb: :thumb:

I underestimate myself. They open the 3 rd Qtr with a drop in the end zone for the 7 th drop of the game followed by a drop on the punt return by Denby 3. Does anyone care??

Not if they keep winning... Ok I care even if they keep winning. Dropped passes and poor QB play have been the Achilles heel of this team that cost them games.

This was not, I repeat NOT, poor quarterback play. Not in the least. This was poor receiver play. Many of those drops were right in their hands. Get those guys some Elmer's Glue. Probably the difference between an 8 - 3 team, instead of a 6 - 5 team. Fix it with new guys or better training, but fix it. John Elway could have been throwing those passes, it wouldn't have mattered. Fix it by next season. Too late this season. :wall:

I wasn't just referring to this game on the poor QB play. It's been an issue all year. Is Clark improved, yes, but again he should look better against bad teams.

For me it was a mixture, while Clark put most of those balls where they needed to be only to be dropped by the receivers, Clark did also overthrow many wide open receivers.

Weber won, and that's all that matters, but we need to be able to really beat the cellar teams of the conference

Probably safe to just refer to it as the pass game.

We are a pass game away from being a really great team. It needs to be fixed, top to bottom. That will be the big step to take for next year. This year is all but in the books. I'm looking forward to that next step. :thumb: :thumb:
