Not the best game by the Hornets. DB play is getting exposed again. Back up QB looks like, well...a back up QB. We can still put this game away as of the 4th Q but they have ALL the momentum. Just terrible execution on some of these

We should have known better. Putting faith in an injury prone QB for a miraculous turn around season was asking for trouble. It's practically over
 
Hornets will have to win at Idaho next week and beat Davis in the Causeway now to make the playoffs - it’s over folks.
 
Guess what? The 3 points Taylor gifted NAU is coming back to haunt.

That, and Jake Dunniway is killing the Hornets season. Up 7 and in NAU territory, any college QB worth his weight has to know that he can’t throw the ball up for grabs. Hornets might have been able to go up 2 scores. Instead, 1 play later it’s a tie game.

Then Taylor has to go conservative because Dunniway keeps throwing into crowds and can’t make accurate throws.

With Thomson, the Hornets blow out NAU. They were on their way to doing it with Dunniway until his implosion.

Now the Hornets defense is gassed and getting ripped. And down 10.

Game over. Season possibly over. Gotta win the last two.

Unbelievable.

Agreed with 90% of this. Can't put the whole L on the kid but he was a walking dumpster fire. Unless the WR is 15 yds open, he's not gonna be able to make the pass. Making dumb and errant plays.
