Week 11 - Sac State at Northern Arizona

And you guys though the Hornets were going to lose this game.

Down 34-24 inside of two minutes, We forced a fourth down play and got a stop, and a personal foul against a NAU OL, long Sac State punt return, Dunniway bomb to Gable for TD, recover inside, Dunniway to Williams TD, Stop NAU’s last gasps, win 38-34... lolololol

Hornet Miracle at 7,000 feet!!!

Sac State never gave up and everything had to be perfect with 1:38 left in the game.
Hornets score 14 points and WIN!!!!'

Be great to see a Sac State football hype video produced of that last 1:38 in Flagstaff.

My son Facetimed us before they got on the buses, I told him they probably weren't going to need the plane to fly back to Sac tonight. He half agreed and said "Probably not!" It's gonna be a great trip back for the guys!
 
While the Dunniway experience left plenty to be desired, dude threw for 350+ and 4 TDs. I will eat my naysaying 34-24 words!

Sorry, Kadeezy. I'm playing a trump card on you! ;)

I literally just found out, about 15 minutes before posting this (approaching 7:45) that the Hornets actually won the game. I did not know. Because I got so upset that I turned off the game after the Hornets gave up the ball on downs with like 2 minutes to go and still down 10.

I just happened to check ESPN to look at the boxscore and saw the news. I am in complete and utter shock!

I firmly believe that the football gods went to the Hornets side because I was no longer emotionally invested and watching. I say that in jest, but only partially.

I'm a cursed fan.

Lastly, I was hard on Coach Taylor for the end of half decision and Dunniway for his inaccuracy and decision making while up 7. I still stand behind what I said. But will gladly eat crow for pronouncing the game over when it apparently wasn't. Also, I give props to Dunniway and the team for taking advantage of the late opportunities they got.

As a long suffering Hornets fan, I'll gladly accept the absolutely gift and move on w/o bitching any further!
