One more thing I noticed - why do some of our players, starters, have no last name on the back of their jerseys? We seem to have the uniform, sideline, game experience, etc. all on an upward trend, so I was surprised to see several players without their last name on the back of their jerseys.

I know some coaches "play games" with what goes on the jersey, what doesn't etc., but usually it's all or nothing for a team. Anyone privy to the name situation? Is it just dropping the ball on equipment or is there another reason for it?

Maybe starters have their name on the back? Two deeps don't?

To be honest, I was surprised we cracked 12k through the gate with an 0-2 record against a no-name opponent. Compound that with the fact that the A's, Sac Republic, and Holy Bowl were going on in town at the same time as our game and the 12k turnout isn't as bad as one might think.

I am good with the attendance #. This town is so tired of the chest beating and until something concrete develops, see what I did there, then nobody is going to assume we are better or FBS potential until it actually reflects on the scoreboard, win column or bulldozers on site.

We should schedule in the future knowing when these events are to be held concurrently and adjust accordingly.
