Week 3: Sac State vs. Northern Colorado

SD: Not to quibble, but the attendance yesterday was 7,408. Your premise remains true, though. I for one tend to think that we could do better, but that SJSU will continue to struggle to remain in FBS. I suspect that they may well compete with Idalol for who becomes the first test case of the FBS minimum attendance rule.

The SJSU numbers were fudged. Apparently the first game the ticket scanning machines weren't working and at least half the fans weren't counted. Pictures from the game confirm the attendance was far above 7,000. I've heard from friends they screwed up again last night and attendance was closer to 15,000. still not stellar and they need to improve attendance and fan interest if they expect to become anything close to relevant in he Bay Area or D1. Still they weren't as sad as reports had them out to be.

So the basically this all boils down to the fact that SJSU can’t count. Same mistake back to back seems like a pretty weak imo.

It certainly doesn't help the perception they are a Mickey Mouse outfit.
